Jiří ŠVARC

Jiří Švarc, as Head of Unit of C.1 Unit, Social investment Strategy at DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, is generally supervising the development of policy guidance on social policies by fostering actions at EU level aiming at fighting poverty, social exclusion and inequality, promoting inclusive labour market participation, as well as upward social convergence.    The scope and objective of the Unit are to strengthen the social dimension of Europe, enhance the European social model and achieve social fairness through inclusive growth and social investment. To this end, the unit directly contributes to the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
